8 Basic Rules that Makes an Internet Video A Great Video

Viewing dozens of successful viral videos every day and picking the top of it to appear on our website, we have come up with the very basic guidelines for creating a successful viral video.
1. Your video should never ever cross the 3:00 minute limit, preferably staying within 1:30-2:00 minutes.
2. Your video should always use sound - never upload videos that are silent even if the original footage was recorded with no soundtrack.
3. Avoid long intros such as: "This video was brought to you by the coolest dude in the world" followed by some more blah blah that no one cares about. Remember, online viewers have no time for this - they browse content and don't really read or have patience for anything else but your real content. Let them decide if your video is the most amazing thing they've seen or not.

4. Music makes a huge difference! Always, if possible, add some music to your videos. Try to be a real editor and wrap your video with the right music for it. By doing this you can get viewers excited over stuff they usually would ignore.
5. Edit your videos. Try to give your videos some nice editing rather than showing them as is. Sometimes a poor subject can be really exciting when given the right editing. Check out "Epic Meal Time" dudes on Youtube to get an idea of what great editing means.
6. Pick the right title. Most videos that reach the top views on YouTube contain the right keywords in their titles - words that get people excited and curious, such as: "exclusive! First blah blah ever! The most...ever! leaked video, rare video!" etc.
7. Use professional equipment. If you're trying to stand out with your content you don't need to get an expensive and professional equipment - a nice mini dvd camera would be just fine. All we're saying is don't use your cell phone camera for this. Avoid shaky and grainy footage that would simply annoy your viewers.
8. Don't waste my time! Try to get to the punch as soon as possible and keep every second of the video interesting and fun. Many users create videos that waste the viewer's time and really there is no reason to do that. Try to stay focused and have one subject / goal in your videos.
